It has been written for use with the general public in mind so that you don’t need to be an expert in producing phylogenies. In most cases, all you have to do is provide TreeView with the name of the inference program and the name of a file containing your data. One of the features of TreeView is that it can draw trees using any suitable program for inferring trees from data. Its output can be a PostScript file that can be printed on any PostScript printer or, better yet, a compressed file that can be sent by electronic mail to people who have no program or printer that can handle PostScript. It can be run in an ordinary terminal window or under X-Windows, and it can draw a tree in one of several standard formats. It is a program for displaying and printing phylogenies. It covers trees often called cladograms which show the evolutionary relationships among groups of organisms they are often displayed using a program called a phylogenetic tree viewer. When testing WPF TreeView controls, you can use properties and methods specific to these controls, as well as properties and methods that TestComplete applies to tested objects, onscreen objects and window objects.TreeView is one of the classical programs for displaying and printing phylogenies. If the specified custom control does not fit the control’s type, then it may not properly respond to commands that TestComplete sends, so recording or playing back user actions over the tested control will cause errors. TestComplete will retrieve the control’s class name and add it to the selected mapping group automatically. As an alternative, you can click Add From Screen and select your custom control on screen. #TREEVIEW ALTERNATIVE INSTALL#
If you experience issues when working with the controls, select File > Install Extensions from the TestComplete main menu and check whether the plugin is active. This plugin is installed and enabled automatically as part of the TestComplete Desktop module. Support for the WPF TreeView controls is implemented by the WPF Control Support plugin. You must have an active license for the TestComplete Desktop module. In order for TestComplete to be able to work with WPF TreeView controls, the following requirements must be met: It provides special properties and methods that let you retrieve the controls data and simulate user actions on the controls (see below).
